The dates for future meetings have been confirmed. These will continue to be held at Leavesden Road Baptist Church on the second Saturday of alternate months. They are listed with further details on the Meetings page.

8 Mar 2012 — This year's AGM
Thanks to everybody who came to this year's AGM last month, making it well-attended despite the freezing conditions. The format worked well, with the Group business being concluded before an engaging talk by John Hopkins.
Over the past few months, an enlarged interim committee has performed the functions necessary to run the Group. During the AGM, the Group membership decided to maintain this extended committee of eight members. Elections for the positions of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer took place. The current holders were nominated for these positions, and were elected to hold them until the next AGM. There were no other nominations to these positions. The extended committee indicated that they were willing to continue their roles, supporting the three officers. A list of the current committee can be found on the Who's who page.
Before standing-down for the elections, the Chairman and Treasurer made their end of year reports. A copy of the Chairman's report has been posted here.
The Treasurer's report indicated that the Group is financially stable. We have predictable expenditure, but also limited income. As an organisation we need to ensure that we look to the future and remain solvent, so we now ask for a £2 per person contribution at each meeting. This change in the level of contributions was ratified at the AGM.
